Soon to be non-profit IGotOut.org is hosting a MeetUp for the first time ever in St Louis on April 15th for survivors of religious trauma, cultic abuse and other high-control groups.
ST LOUIS, APRIL 15, 2023 – Volunteer-run IGotOut.org announced plans to hold an in person meetup for survivors of controlling groups, cults, religious trauma, pyramid schemes, and other high-demand groups on April 15, 2023 in St Louis, MO.
The #igotout Coffee Hour Meetup will take place at The Business Lodge at the Chesterfield Mall from 10am to noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be available.
The informal meet up will include a brief presentation about the mission of the #IGotOut movement by Shelly Snow Pordea, a St Louis native and co-founder of igotout.org Gerette Buglion of Vermont will facilitate the event.
The April 15th meetup is intended to create a safe space for survivors of cultic abuse and their loved ones. Community members who are sincerely concerned and interested in promoting understanding and compassion for all who have been harmed through cultic involvement are also welcome.
